Alfa Romeo Giulia EV
The next-generation Giulia has some big shoes to fill, as the current car is one of the most sought-after compact executives out there. However, Alfa is aggressively stepping in to replace it, with an all-electric saloon to rival models like the Tesla Model 3.
Based on the upcoming STLA Large EV platform with 800V engineering, the Giulia promises a range of about 500 miles and a charge to 80 percent in less than 20 minutes. The Quadrifoglio's two-engine, all-wheel-drive version can deliver up to 900 horsepower and blast from 0-62 mph in less than 2.0 seconds. Factor in the elegant looks and engaging driving dynamics and it'd be a shock if this Alfa wasn't competitive in its class.
Small Alfa Romeo e-SUV
Alfa is late to the EV party, but it's hoping its first battery-powered model will ship to the top of the class when it arrives.
The all-electric small SUV is the first model to be developed using know-how from parent company Stellantis, which means it will likely use the same e-CMP platform as cars like the 2008 Vauxhall Corsa-e and Peugeot e-V.
Expect more power from the 134-horsepower engine, improved package and revised chassis for more driver enjoyment and greater precision.
While this Alfa will be able to make near-silent progress, the distinctive styling cues heavily influenced by the larger Tonale mean it should still turn heads.
Alpine R5
Fans of fast French hatchbacks are waiting for a fun experience in 2025, when Alpine unveils a faster version of the upcoming all-electric Renault 5.
It's been nearly five decades since the sports marque first worked its magic on an evolution of the original Renault supermini, but this all-new model is ready to step back from years gone by.
It features a 215-horsepower electric motor driving the front wheels, and it should do 0-62 mph in less than six seconds.
There will also be a wider track, with a lowered and stiff suspension for nimble handling, while the exterior will pay homage to the mid-engined Renault 5 Turbo of the 1980s.
Alpine SUV
Alpine has big plans for its future, and you need look no further than the GT X-Over (working title) SUV for proof.
The company made its name with the light and agile A110 sports utility vehicle, but to get ahead on the sales charts, it needs a crossover model.
Still, the premium newcomer promises to be true to the brand's values, with solid performance, engaging handling, and a lightweight that's lighter than its competitors.
On top of the company's promises to be fully electric by the middle of the decade, the GT X-Over will likely use a three-motor layout with 450 horsepower and Active Torque Vectoring capability.
Its design will draw heavily on the iconic A110, with a low roofline and four-lamp layout.
